Denise was great! This was my mom's and my first trip to Austin and she was great in helping us acclimate to the city and answer all of our questions. We had a great time on the tour- delicious food, good people, and an amazing and knowledgable tour guide. Would definitely recommend!

Denise was such a wonderful guide on this food tour adventure! We really enjoyed learning about the history of the restaurants as well as general Austin fun facts and interesting tidbits of information. Denise was so flexible and willing to work with our special request to remain outside for the duration of the tour. Thanks for making this experience so special and memorable!

Our family has done food tours all over the world, and we agree that this one was among the best! We used to live in Austin 15 years ago, and were excited to return to see how things changed. Denise was so positive and interested in sharing all of the things that have changed, and reasons/stories behind the stops and food choices. There was MORE than enough food provided that varied with respect to cultural influence and taste (sweet, savory, spicy, etc.). Very manageable walking distance. What was most remarkable was how Denise responded to an unexpected downpour. Not only did she run over to a store to buy umbrellas, but she also requested a ride share to get us to our next stop. This was above and beyond what we expected. We will be recommending Secret Food Tours to anyone visiting Austin.

Wow, this tour was incredible! My wife and I have been on 5-6 food tours in various cities - we find it's a great way to explore a new place, learn about the culture, and try delicious foods - and this one was our favorite so far! My wife and I had a private tour with Denise. Denise was a phenomenal tour guide, sharing so many interesting facts and being super kind and conversational. We had a great time asking her questions about herself, the food, and Austin. The food itself? Phenomenal. We only had another day in Austin before returning home, but we made return visits to two of the restaurants the following day. They provided large portions (definitely come hungry), and it was all delicious. Highly recommend that you check this tour out if you're in Austin!
