What a fantastic time. I booked on a different tour, which cancelled due to low numbers, but when I rebooked on this one I was pleasantly surprised that I was the only person on the tour. Sandy, my guide, was lovely. Full of conversations and explaining everything and everywhere that I went. Encouraging me to try new and exotic dishes (Chicken foot soup). Helping me understand how things are made, where items are imported from and even allowed me venture into a kitchen, and behind the scenes of a live market. All really interesting and would thoroughly recommend this. There was also a short tour of a temple to Tin Has, with some great insight from Sandy giving detailed history.

Had a great time. This was my intro to Hong Kong. Was delicious & informative. Sandy our guide was very smart and helpful. You stop by a market and a few historic temples to take a break between eating.Some things WE ate, if you’re curious.. brisket, soup dumplings, roasted goose, chicken feet soup (i was the only one who dared), stopped by an asian fruit stand, went to a dim sum restaurant, then ended with milk tea, pineapple bun, & french toast. Very full!

Sandy (host) was outstanding as she guided us through some of the streets where the locals eat & shop. An informative, eye opening & great tasting secret food tour, you definitely don’t want to miss & you won’t go home hungry!

We toured with Sandy and had a great time. No one else had booked our timeslot, so we had an unexpected private tour. Sandy is very knowledgeable, being born and raised in Hong Kong. She answered all of our questions and took us to some great places we otherwise would have never gone to. It was so much more than just food. The local markets. The temples. We learned and experienced more than we expected. Since our trip to HK was short, this was perfect. Pan fried minibuns all the way.
